Daylight saving started today and goes on for the next 6 months.

Shoot, I hate daylight saving. If people want more daylight they should get up earlier.

IMHO.

It did?

Or does it start tonight after midnight (what is it, like 2am)?

.

The OP is in Australia, and they have a different date for the time change.

I agree with you, Helicopter -- the time change is absurd.

I hadn't paid attention to the OP's location. Thanks for the heads up that its November 4th. I'm completely tired of the time changes, perhaps I should move to AZ, my sister lives in Phoenix and they don't do the time change.

I'm such a night / fall / winter person -- I actually love it! I spend as much time with my horses in my PJ's in the cooler months as in my street clothes...

Here in the states I would like to see daylight savings time happen all year long. I can't sleep when the sun is out and so I get up when it does, if not before, but I like the longer evenings. I can't hold my eyes open in the winter when it gets dark so early.

I don't care whether it's daylight savings time or standard time; either is fine, but let's just choose one or the other and keep it that way.
