Curious to know what everyone is paying for hay

In west-central Arkansas I found a guy that will provide me with excellent Bermuda for $3 / 70 pound bale. For an additional $1.25 a bale, his son will deliver and stack it in my barn. WELL worth the $$ since my knees can't handle climbing up and down the hay pile. All I have to do is toss them off the truck for the guys. But he ran a little short last year so I had a load of gorgeous orchard grass hay shipped down from NE Wisconsin...but with the shipping that ran me almost $400 a ton. But my babies gotta eat.

I did find a place that has the bags of orchard grass PELLETS (50 pound bags) at around $9 a bag and quite frankly, it is worth the $$. Absolutely no waste like with baled hay and I know that what they are getting is nothing but top quality orchard grass. The ration I'm now giving my horses is approx. 1/3 orchard pellets and 2/3 Bermuda grass hay.
