Oops...I forgot a couple...

ANYTHING with burnt cheese around the edges

and this may sound gross, but my mother used to make us scrambled egg sandwiches -- this is heaven on earth...remember this one next time you crash your bike or fall out of a tree...

Oh, yeah I forgot a few:

Gumbo! Yumm...on a stormy day, it rules.

My grandma's tamale pie, and raisin pie w/a slice of sharp cheddar to go w/.

Cinnamon rolls (bears repeating. The guys love it, too, the way it smells and the way they taste). I make them from scratch w/ a recipe for scottish baps. (a yeasty scone bread)

my comfort food is this fry stuff I make...it always makes me feel good...

bake oreida fries (zeties)

when they're done, layer them in a glass dish...on top put chopped green peppers, onions, jalepenos, bacon bits, lots of shredded taco cheese...put back in the oven for about 10 minutes...

top with sour cream and tomotoes....mmmm yummy!
