Recently I was reviewing children's current literature and ran across a reviewer with a very nice website that covered many great children's books. She posted thoughtful, articulate reviews that were very helpful. As with any reviewer, however, you will always find one or two posts that you may not agree with completely.
There was one review that had me laughing out loud and I thought it may provide you all with a smile too.
The book involved is a 'first chapter' book for young readers and involves a little boy that "saddles up" and sets off on adventure.
The reviewer stated that the little boy had a horse that he needed to " compliment, stay near by, and keep happy". The reviewer found this book lacking in relatable characters......................
