Here is a picture of my 8-year-old gelding with my mom. This was a few summers ago in pasture condition. Nothing fancy but he's the love of my life. If I had to sell all my horses but one, he'd be staying no questions asked

How could I resist posting photos of my favorite blood bay?!

(Although, like Karla, I think mahogany bay best describes this color, especially after I spent one summer restoring an antique mahogany bedroom set -- the burgundy tones in the wood are the same that are present in his coat, and true mahogany wood also has the brighter, lighter red tones.)
