: Rodales has some of the best herbals written. There are several good books for herbal treatment of critters , minis not specified. Google it. I own about fifty herbal books, for me and my babies, but most are packed still as we have recently moved.

Go to Amazon & find this book by Catherine Bird.

It has more info than you may use in a LIFETIME,

and my copy of this book is highlighted, dogeared,

sticky tabbed all over. I think it would help you

immensely to get started....

One of my favorite veterinary books, and one I have used several times, is The Complete Holistic Care and Healing for Horses, The Owner's Veterinary Guide to Alternative Methods and Remedies. It's by Mary L. Brennan, DVM who is a holistic and traditional medicine equine vet.
