was watching and vet said may be career ending for this fine horse. So sad; they are now sedating him and going to xray. say some prayers for him and all involved!
His name should have typed as Barbaro; my mistake.
update: vet said xray shows fracture above and below the ankle. don't know if blood supply has been affected. taking him to Univ of Penn. for further evaluation. vet asked for prayers. if blood supply has been affected then could be life threating.
