Anyone with a son or daughter overseas in the military?

I have a friend in the marines who just went overseas. I want to sent him care packages but im not sure what to send. My ex was in the marines and went over a couple years ago, when they had nothing. I remember sending him baby wipes and toliet paper. I know they have more stuff now, but besides gum, im kinda lost. Any help would be great! also, how long does it take for a package to get to them now? thanks!!!
