I don't think he even charged me for boarding. I'm going to take them a plate of home made cookies today.

I decided to give him more banamine this morning as the swelling had increased a little overnight and I could hear him breathing. The area is still draining, but not as profusely. He has several wounds on his lips and under his chin, and I think they are where the skin split open. But a nice pile of poop this morning

and I have let him out in the yard to browse and roam for the day.

Boy I sure agree, your vet bill was very reasonable. Where you live sure does make a difference lol - it would have probably been double or triple that here, and I think we are pretty reasonable compared to many parts of the country.

I've thought about guineas but as long as I have Jack Russells & cats, I'm not sure how long they would last. At this rate though, the JRTs may not last too much longer!
