I am by no means saying what they are doing is right as I have no idea what the situation is.

The same law is passed here in BC and I have a WONDERFUL vet who does my horses teeth. He has the proper equipment and does a great job. We also have a few vets who only practice dentistry, so maybe it is a bit different. I know in BC there was one person who was a great equine dentist however there were numerous more who were just doing hack jobs.

Maybe there is a solution to all this, maybe if a vet and a good equine dentist such as Carl joined together with a college a certification program could be created to train, certify and create a council that would over see rules and regulations of this new group of equine dentists. Im just throwing out ideas to try to help!
