The 2013 National Area V Show was a huge success! Thank you to the judges, Jim Bruggink and Cindy Butler, to Tracey and Samantha Slagle on managing a great show, to Pepper Hitchcock and his wife Kim for announcing and keeping the books in center ring, to JimAnn Jones for making sure all of the exhibitors were in the correct class and had the right numbers on, to Jana Dauber for keeping the horses flowing in, for our great show Steward, Dean Duxbury for making sure we were all following the rules....and to the great exhibitors who came and endured the heat to meet the heat head o in the show ring. We had folks from all over Area V, New Mexico, Oklahoma, Arkansas, Texas and Louisiana. 223 head competed for the top honors so watch for them at the 2013 ASPC/ASPR Congress and the 2013 Miniature Nationals. Great exhibitor luncheon hosted by the ASPC/AMHR Club of North Texas on Saturday, wonderful ice cream sponsored by Jim and Bev Allen, lots of new vendors were there and our tack vendor who was to be there ended up in the hospital with a severe migraine headache. She WILL BE at the SPOOKER in October. Hats off to Ray and Vickie Tobin for the generous donation to the silent auction and to everyone who bought silent auction items. Thanks. to everyone for your support as without YOU the 2013 National Area V show would not have been as great of a success as it was. See you all in October!
