So I have been meaning to take Teddy to a barn near us, (2.5 miles through woods, cornfield, and neighborhoods) for a couple of months now, just to get him used to a new place, with different animals! (donkeys, minis, big horses, cats, chickens, etc). We didn't know how to get there, but finally last week I just decided to go for it! He was so good, and so patient, because we had to walk through "deer paths" that hadn't ever been used, and a neighborhood, where he stopped to let an old man pet him, and bushes/undergrowth that were taller than him! He just kept on trekking. There were two creeks that he reluctantly crossed, and he had to walk through the barn with loose chickens! He was so exhausted by the time we got back, 5 miles later, but what a sweetie! At two years old!
