    photo challange - of sorts

I would love for the grass/jump posts/ person in back round/cone to be removed. I myself attempted and I simply just could not make the grass go away without making it look as if I hadn't touched it. http://i76.photobucket.com/albums/j27/alle...lc/100_0293.jpg...

    my crazy parrot

Ha ha, I can just imagine it. :bgrin I have 3 Sun Conures. 2 are about a year and a half now, they are full brother and sister and have yet to see any "curiosity" hope I never do. My oldest does pull ups (holds on to the cage with his beak and lifts his legs off) -- such a show off, but so cute.

    Boarding

I will soon be heading off to college and want to bring my horse ("full size"). Unfortunately, I live 5 hours away and going around looking at barns just isn't doable. So, what questions would you ask the barns? So far I've thought of price, stall size, turnout and how often they feed. Anything...

Fun and Crazy Times at the Henry Boyd CDE

Sounds like you had a very successful day! It looks like so much fun. To me, it looks like eventing, but for minis. What is it called exactly?

Do your horses enjoy being groomed??

My Thoroughbred HATES to be bushed. He flicks his tail, bobs his head, kicks with his hind legs, doesn't stand still, etc. While nothing stops his fussing, I found that using a soft brush and tying him outside instead of in the barn does decrease it. I suppose I've just gotten used to it now...

    SOOOOO buddy sour!

I had the exact same problem, but with my Thoroughbred. Remi didn't have the easiest life before I got him, race horse, failed polo pony, another owner, me. He was incredibly heard bound, in fact I remember one incident where I was lead him to me lesson (alone, all the other horses where in the...

    Whats you newest GOOD IDEA

I had two empty containers from Smartpak as I no longer needed the supplements. Into one went the flax seed - no more mice eating through the bag! In the other I placed all my polos, boots and bells and so I no longer have to rummage around in my big trunk.

Is the "Shetland type" found in the smaller minis (34" and under)? Or is that look in the smaller minis referred to as "Thoroughbred type"?

    Miniature types

Was reading through other posts and found this "When it comes to conformation, miniatures for show and breeding should be held to the same standard as are full size horses. Straight legs, good bites and sound conformation are important. When it comes to showing, there is a type that is...
