I have a stallion that im going to be doing a free lease with and the lady that's taking him wants to use him for breeding. I haven't been a member of AMHR for some time and I think I'd have to join again. My question is, how would she be able to register the foals? The stallion is AMHR. Thanks

Mine is fed free choice so there is waste there, I haveno idea on the weight of the bale. As for the size, I can put 1 bale in the back of my truck with a 6' bed, 2 bales in an 8' bed. Wish my hay lasted them longer:(

I've been feeding 6 of mine round bales since December. It is so much easier but there is waste. When I know bad weather is coming (horses are inside) I cover it with a tarp. I use square bales for 2 of my other horses that are kept seperate and for night feeding. One round bales gets me about 2...

For some reason I don't think my horses age as fast as they really do, I seen to think they are close to the same age as when I get them, lol. I bought a big horse last year from this lady whose 7 yr old daughter was riding and not once has she got in touch with me to ask how he is doing. I just can't imagine not checking in on him because he is a very sweet horse and if it had been me selling him, i'd want to know.

Colon cancer runs in my family and it seems to be hitting each generation at a younger age. My sister wanted a colonoscopy when she was in her mid 20's but her Dr. didn't want her to but she insisted and they did find a polyp, so it's a good thing she had it done. I had my first one 5 years ago...

My vet was just here today to do a few of the horses and the dog. Her farm call is $35 and that's stayed the same but her shots went up about $2 each, so that's not to bad.
