My mares get a little more hay than normal, and my older ones get as much as they can handle. I don't change the weanlings diet over winter as long as they are mainaining their heavier weight that they put on in fall. I don't give any extra hay to my stallion, he's already overweight...

I don't know, I feed cracked corn because it's better than feeding whole kernel corn. The cracked corn makes it easier for the acids to break it down, and more of the feed is being utilized.
