Then after I walked into the water he followed like it was nothing.

Not at all. He just didn't want to go in it unless I was.

He wasn't fearful and he wasn't upset... he just didn't see a reason why I wanted him in.

He reminds me of Kassie with the 'Nope! I'm not gunna do it til you do mom!' Every time she gets in water she paws and gets me soaked.
