This is Dakota, our rescue pony. A few people told me that she looked like a Welsh cross, but I have no idea what she is.....any pony experts want to take a guess?? She is starting to build up a little, and was even skinnier than this picture when we got her. I don't know much about pony breeds, so I couldn't even remotely guess, but thought that someone here may have an idea or a good guess? She is approximately 4-5 years old and 12 hands....and about 150-200 lbs. underweight in this picture according to our vet.

At 12 hands she could be a straight Welsh, no crossing!! And....underweight?? You think!! My Welsh Sec B mare was 340 KILOGRAMMES at 12.2hh- and NOT in foal!!! Granted she was not exactly in riding condition, but she rarely carried a lot of extra weight. Nice mare, though, congratulations.
