What a pretty little filly. I am so glad she has healed up nicely. We had a similar situation this year with an 9 week old filly who came in from the pasture with her front leg completely broken--swinging in the wind--below the knew. She healed great and we will be showing her this year as well. Check out my facebook if you want to see the pictures (mrzfarms). Its amazing how they heal up

Hang in there with her and by the looks of her, she should be bringing some nice ribbons and titles this year!!!

Keep us posted. Want to see a pic of her in the ring (and Winners Circle)!!!!

Best, Mary

She is *sensational*

Love the second picture on the first post. What confidence in the little filly. Good luck at Nationals.

Sure glad to see your post. What a beautiful filly she is. So glad she is doing well.

Years back I had a filly born with a dislocated hip and fractured femur. After undergoing surgery and 4 months of living in a 4' x 4' square of her mom's stall, she was finally able to get out a little. Today she is a very much loved pet in her forever home. Her break affected the growth plate, the surgery didn't hold as her bones were just so soft, so her leg is about 2" shorter on that side. She doesn't know it. I saw her a couple of weeks ago when I delivered her half sister to the same people. My God she can run!!!!!

I wish you the best with her. If you ever need prayers or good thoughts this is the place to come. I truly believe my "forum family" helped Dawn get through her ordeal. Actually that is her in my avatar!
