I love rock and brick walls for pasture fencing/dividers.

Always loved those and seen a lot of them as a child in New England.

Has anyone out here ever built one? For us the beauty, wind block and as in exchange for regular fencing

we'd love to do it realizing it will take several summers to do what we want.

Has anyone here ever made one? If so can you share picture pictures.

Are you talking about the hand stacked stone or do you mean the permanent ones set with concrete? I can't tell you how many stacked stone flower beds and 18-24" walls I have made, we live at the base of a mountain, uggg.

Carolyn, am talking about the ones set in concrete like the wall around what looks like a well

here behind the couple in the last link below.

We're searching for rock wall pictures and ideas.

Not for a pasture but had to share this. I'm also planning gardens too and love cottage stone. I likes

Rock walls like this except of course higher with some sort of mortar in between for more stability.

here we go, like the one behind this couple just 2 feet higher, this one is perfect, 2 ft higher, and 2 to 3 ft wide

heck will out last us and no boards to replace or mend. Could even put small metal dows along the way on top as we make it for a hot wire to keep coyotes and cougar from trying to jump over.

(can you all tell I am over excited and thinking way to much.)

My mom made a stone wall (6'' or so) out of old stepping stones from our old front walk way...turned out really good!...but it took awhile to get the stones to fit right. Sometimes when I walk on it a stone or two falls off

*shhhh*

I think it would look gorgeous as dividers for paddocks....or even a fence that has a foot or 2 of stone then the rest is a white fence...not sure how the fence attatches to the stone tho...
