We have formed a team for my sister ( had breast cancer-double mastectomy) we walk next friday-June 12th.

Is anyone else doing it in your town??

I am asking for donations- I have some friends who are walking with us but so many people say "I will give you money but I'm not walking"...

I guess some people dont want to be bothered or they are busy..

I for 1 think anything we can do to help cure cancer is a MUST...

I am on a team at the school I work at in Paola kansas. Ours in next friday nite also. We have had several fundraisers including bake sale, garage sale, picture contest and a drawing for donated gifts. I have been doing the relay for several years but it has become more personal for me as my my mother in law has cancer, my uncle and a dear friend are suffering from it right now. It is a very small thing we can do as individuals to help out. Good luck with your relay. Sheila
