Poem for Marty when she feels it's time

A beautiful star shines tonight,

Those who are gazing know why it's so bright

It shines with the life of one so young

whose time on Earth was so quickly done

It shines for all who are left to cry

left to wonder, asking why

The light is bright so all will find

they are not truly left behind

This bright star shines with unending love

and watches over you from above

Though the ache is deep and the distance seems far

you're closer than it seems to your beautiful star

Offer up prayer to the star so bold

and know he'll always be there for your heart to hold

God bless you and your family Marty. I am in tears as I think of my own sons and pray that I never have to find the strength to overcome something like this. I don't know what it would be, but if you can think of ANYTHING I can do to help you please let me know. You are in my prayers.

What a wonderful poem for Marty. When I think of all the poems Marty has written to help other people overcome there hurt feelings, I wish we could all put our thoughts into lovely words like that. God Bless Marty and all who hurt for Michael, it's hard for us to make sense of this at all and I hope Marty knows that we are all greiving for her and wish we could be there. She would be surrounded by so much love. I hope she has alot of friends and family near by.
