Sadie foaled last night and we welcomed a pretty little filly. I think she's a silver bay, but not sure. We're not sure what color her sire is, but he may be a buckskin pintaloosa. (There is no record of breeding and DNA will have to determine for sure.)

Sadie is Kobecks Little Girl Running Brave, a daughter of Komokos Chief Running Brave. She is a varnish appy, so I've been told.

We are just a foster home to Sadie. She is from the group rescued from New England. Thanks to Cindy Moses for all her hard work and the Northeast Miniature Horse Club and CMHR for helping to give Sadie a chance at a better life. The team wants to name the babies from this rescue something special and Phoenix was suggested.

So I have come to call the new girl "Phoenix."
