This perennial peanut hay is very popular here in Florida. It is supposed to be very similiar to alfafia hay and I LOVED it when I had a rescue thoroughbred here several years ago. He put weight on easily once started on it and maintained nicely after he was brought to proper weight.

I was wondering if anybody feeds it to their minis and if so, what is their experience with it?

We used to feed it when we lived in Fl. I had no problems with the minis eating it. It was easier to get than good alfalfa. If I could find a source for it locally I would buy it again.
