I bought a haynet today, after one feeding with it, I love it! I was also told to take away the grain. The salesperson has ponies so she pointed me in the direction of a Vanilla Flax stable snax. Its a natural treat by ginger ridge. It has the nutrients that I worried about him not getting if I took all his grain away. We discussed the various grains and how they worked with her ponies. So I'm cutting way down on his grain and slowly changing him over to this "treat". With something to chew he should be happy. With the changes I have made so far I see a marked improvement with his weight. When I have time, I'll buy a new camera, take some photos and post them.
