Directions to Iona Farm:

From the East: I 70 to Exit 26, Hoke Road. Turn South (left) onto Hoke Rd. Go South thru the light at Rt. 49. About 150 yards past the light, opposite the Montgomery County CTC, turn right onto Kimmel Rd. Continue straight on Kimmel thru the first intersection (Crestway Rd.). You will then go down a hill with a 90 degree bend at the bottom. In front of you, at the bend, you will see white fence. Follow the fence to Wastler Rd. and turn left. We’re the first driveway on the left.

From the West: I 70 to Exit 24, Rt. 49. This puts you on Rt. 49. At the first light, turn right onto Hoke Road and about 150 yards down, turn right onto Kimmel Rd.. Then follow the directions above.

From the North or South: I 75 to I 70. Go west 3 exits and follow the directions abo

Open Barn...Open Bar...it's all the same at Iona Farm! Everyone has a great time!

Wow! Had a great day and great turnout! Haven't counted through the guest book yet, but I am sure the numbers were well over 100 people. constant flow in and out from start to finish.

We did the clinic on the general info on Minis, breeding foaling and clipping and grooming. Then Versatility training (Ashley Harris) came and did the jumping and driving clinics. 3 time World Champion Jumper- Iona Excalibur loves the crowd that cheer for him and although he refused at first, managed to clear the 46" jump. Ashley also took a brood mare from the field who had never been worked with before to demo how to start a jumping horse and had her jumping 28 inches in about 15 minutes.

I think everyone had a good time, especially going in and petting the babies! This is usually about the hottest weekend in the summer, but this strange summer we are having record lows today. High in the low 70's. So the weather was also perfect. Everyone was so involved that our open bar (soft drinks and water) still has quite a bit left!!!

Thanks to everyone that came and helped make a great day! We really enjoyed meeting a lot of new people and sharing our love for the mini.
