The 2nd Donkey Sale at Veterans Memorial Park in Mount Airy, NC is this Saturday, August 25th. There will be a tack sale on Friday night, the 24th, beginning at 7:00 PM. Used tack on Saturday Morning beginning at 9:00 Am and the donkeys will sell at 11:00 AM. Jeff Rogers will be there Saturday morning with a good selection of wrought iron benches, swings, etc. with a donkey theme! There is a fantastic group of donkeys coming and there is sure to be something for everyone!

Donkeys are coming from New Jersey, West Virginia, Virginia, Georgia, Tennessee, Ohio, South Carolina and North Carolina. Many of the jennets have foals by their side and some are bred back for a great 3 in 1 package. There is an excellent selection of jacks for anyone interested in expanding their breeding program. If you are looking for something different, you are in luck! One of the consigments is a Zedonk! Now that's something you don't see very often and is hard to come by. There are also some llamas and a mule consigned. The catalog is online now at www.trottingc.com Check it out!

As you can see, there is definitely something that should appeal to everyone! If you're not in a hurry to get home, you can spend a little time in "Mayberry" and see all of the Andy Griffith sites.
