IT Is now officially SHANIA :aktion033: :aktion033: :aktion033:
How do you like that????
Shania is doing very well. She seems very healthy and very happy. She does sleep a lot just like a little baby. She gets up to eat, drink, poop and pee and plays a little bit, then she looks for a lap. If there isn't a lap available, she goes by herself into her own little box with her bankee and puts herself to sleep. She has learned to use the litter box in two days and also she now meows at the back door and scratches on it to go out side. She hasn't grown. Yet.
She's often found near Devin, our bad doggy. I don't know what to make of that. They have formed some kind of King Kong VS little lady relationship. Devin is a very mean dispositioned dog mostly and I am quite shocked that he has allowed Shania in his territory. He follows her everywhere and they are usually together. Boggles the mind. However, I don't leave them alone unattended because I do not trust Devin. My German Shephard Tracey is very put out about having her in the house and she also has to be watched around her.
Shania goes out during the day when she can be watched. I already caught her following another cat towards the road into the forest, so like any baby, she just has to be watched 24-7. She's going to be stepped on and squished by a horse if left alone back up at the barn. She's just too tiny to be put outside, but she does enjoy sitting on the grass in the sunshine. Today she caught a bug and was fasinated with it.
Because of the dogs and me being allerigic, this is going to be a temporary situation for Shania until she can be re-homed where there are not any threats like there is here. But with any animal, if the right person doesn't come along, she'll stay for as long as it takes. We're in no hurry to bid her farewell. She's a joy.
