At our house, since neither my husband nor I have a mother to celebrate with, the day is ALL about me.
The idea is I get to do exactly and only what *I* want to do. And of course, that means spending the day with my horses
I spent the afternoon grooming 4 of the 6 (the others were groomed well the other day). I especially needed to get some of the shedding hair off of these as I hoping to get away with not body clipping them. They all needed their bridal path done though. I took some pics and thought I'd share. I used my cheap P&S so they're not the greatest, but I haven't shared any of them in a long while.

Out of all my horses, she has the best shine to her coat...it doesn't show well in these photos, but I love grooming her. Of course, getting all that red shedding hair off takes time when you're trying to avoid clipping.
