How do you change the backgrounds of photos?

What do you guys use to alter your pictures. I would like to play with this picture and put another background but I don't know what program to use. Is there something on the internet you use or is it a software on your computer? Thanks

I use Adobe Photoshop CS3, i bought it and installed it though. Check your programs, maybe you have something already...? Microsoft picture it?

If not, i highly recomend getting photoshop. I love mine!!

I'm just a beginner at this but I tried. I gave her a shot; and a bridle path.

This is a transparent background so you should be able to plop her down on any background.

If you can't. Send the background to me and I'll try to help.
