Its a test for Prostate cancer.
What is the level? Has he had it done before... how long ago? and what was it then? What is his age? Is it about Your hubby??
PSA levels do go up with age but spikes are worrysome. Usually the Dr. will try an antibiotic for 2 weeks or so to rule out infection first before panicking.
Any relatives with it?
My husband has been checked every year since he was 35 as every male member in his famuly has prostate cancer.
Please follow up on this.
