Tim made dinner for us last night and it included a wonderful desert!! It's an upside down cake, but so easy and yummy.

13X9 pan

Spread 2 cans of canned apples evenly across the bottom

Sprinkle apples with cinnamon

Top apples with 1 box of white cake mix

Put pats of butter all across top of cake mix

Bake at 350 until crust is golden brown

Totally scrumptious and really, really easy!!! Just had some more this morning with my coffee!!! Going to get fat on his cooking!!

Charlene.....no liquid, no eggs, no oil. He used a full stick of butter to dot the top. Think he cooks absolutely everything in butter!!! Easy, easy & yummy too!!!

When you put the can cherries and crushed pineapple in the bottome of the pan do you drain the fruit? or pour the juices in? Inquiring minds need to know these things so I can get in my Jaguar an head to Walmart.

I got a question!

Are you supposed to make the cake mix, or just put it in as is ?

I can't wait to wear my brand new crocs back to Walmart to buy some apples!

Hey, Carol and Marty --

When ya'll are at Walmart, get some "Great Value" Drink Mix. It comes in a tube with 6 little tubs in it that each make 2 quarts (so a tube will make six 2qt containers). It has zero calories and I guess is a knock off of Crystal Light but it has more flavors, I think, and is only $1.88 for a tube of 6. I bought about a dozen tubes.

The apple flavor tastes just like apple juice and zero calories!!! It is SOOOOOO good!!! I also love the peach tea flavor. Have some cherry, cranberry, and fruit punch that I've not tried yet but will try the punch today. I can't believe how much the apple is like real juice!!!

I was smirking some sipping it while participating in the Great LB Walmart Debate
