.gif question

Okay, I am wanting to make a .gif image with several picture in it. I know you can do it, but do not know how. Do you use a photo shop, or a flash program? Any more info would be great.

We have a program called Animation Wizard whivh came with Paint Shop Pro 5.

I will look in to that.

I'm having a bit of a hard time finding it as something besides "free ware", or "share ware". I don't know about you, but I have had bad luck with those.

This is a free program I use to create gif files. It is freeware but is easy to use but that's just my opinion

I just got the program, and it seems to be working fine. However when I tried to set the time I think I did something wrong. I put it for what I thought was 10 seconds on each frame. Okay, so far so good. But when I saved it as an "animated image" it didn't seem to change the pics at all. It just stayed on the first pic on the line up. What did I do wrong?

Never mind. I feel stupid now. When I uploaded them it converted the file types from .gif to .jpeg.
