While at the vet this morning getting health papers for our trip to AMHA Central Show we were just informed there has been two confirmed cases of Vesicular Stomatitis here in Texas within the last three weeks. All horses leaving Texas must have health papers signed by your vet that they have been physically examined for this disease. Be aware all Livestock Check stations will most likely be open and checking health and coggins papers. I know alot of people may be using health papers that are still within the 30-45 days safe zone- please check and make sure everything is in order. Have a safe trip...

Thanks for the heads up. That would be just one more thing to make my day. I got my health certificate last Monday. Fortunately my Coggins and HC are online so I checked with my vet and the VS check is on there.

Thanks
