I have been thinking of getting a couple of goats but there is a cherry laurel tree on the fenceline more than one tree actully. My horses never bothered with them but I'm worried about goats eating the leaves.

I know I can fence it off but I'm still worried about the stray leaf blowing over.

I think these trees are native of southern states? But they are everywhere----I hate them!!

Anyone have any and what do you have to say about them?

Thanks.

We have some, and we had a goat, but I cant be of much help, I cant remember if she ate the leaves or not I do know she ate the oak leaves because when I would trim the lower branches she would be right there to pick them clean! Kathy
