"Bred for 2013" as a selling point - not!

Just to stir the pot, the flip side is buyers, I have a bunch of "open by choice mares" for sale and the first thing I am asked by the buyer is "why isn't she bred? What is wrong with her?" At this point/ in this economy, it is a loose loose situation on my end
Yes, I find that very frustrating as well. I posted earlier that would like to sale my mare open but I don't have more then 4 or 5 foals a year so I would have missed my chance to breed her sense I'm sure she will still be her next year in this bad market. So I have one mare for sale exposed for 2013 for my benefit not really for someone else’s. I have her bred to a nice General Patton grandson so if anyone wants that cross then the foal is a bonus.
