Can anyone please tell me what colour this mare is? mare was born black and white (the top pic is her as a foal and the bottom pic is her with her pinto foal). is she varnish or is she a few spot?

sire was a black leopard

dam was pintaloosa.

I think, by the looks of her, she carries both genes.

I am going to guess that she is a black pintaloosa and varnish that caused her to roan out. The pics are hard to tell for sure but looks like she has lots of spots so likely not a fewspot.

thankyou Mona- he is my stallion 'ricardo' my all time fave boy!

this little mare in question is now completely white no markings at all- even around her eyes muzzle the skin is plain pink, no mottling at all!

grey is deffo not in the pedigree either

Orin, it would be very helpful if you could shgare larger photos of the mare, both as an adult as well as a foal., That one you posted was too small to see much at all.
