Any tips on teaching granddaughter to sew?

I would love the pattern. With 3 granddaughter, they have all kinds of sizes of dolls. Thank you for the offer.

Ellie's doll is 18 inches and I found out isn't an American Girl doll but a similar, lower cost, Journey Girl. At her age, I'm glad they went that way. She is smaller in the waist and has a larger head than the American Girl but her other measurements are similar.

Charley, I will be glad to pass it on. I only have the one granddaughter, now 10, and she has never played with dolls; she is learning to crochet, likes painting, drawing, crafts,gymnastics, running, is in the Y's indian princess group going camping with her dad and liked being in plays at her school. But the doll clothes patterns are wasted here, so I am happy you can use them. This pattern is very cute, it is an oldie, but goodie, ha ha.
