Lots of ways to look at this. I think AMHR is scored 75% by originality, if I recall what the

rulebook says correctly. I guess in order to satisfy that, they would need to be the cutesy

costumes.

After watching these classes...do you REALLY think the KIDS are making these costumes? With

things they find around the house? Ummm..I don't think so.

What about those parents who can't sew and aren't "artsy"? Should kids be penalized

because of their parent's lack of creative talent? I think there is a place for purchased

costumes.

Although a lover of native costumes, I think the cutesy ones we're seeing fit the bill...everybody

loves watching the costume classes and seeing the great ideas!

The only problem I can really see with this class is that they do need to add a "Group" class, where

all ages can go in as a group. Not just Youth and Adult classes.
