Pony needs a new home in PA

We picked this guy up from the auction this summer. He was skinny and needed some TLC. He is ready to find a new home as we are looking to make some room for some others that will need our help this winter. He is up to date on all shots, coggins and worming. I am willing to deliver him locally...

    Pumpkin Mugs for the Camera

This is Pumpkin, a 3 year old mini that was about a 1 on the body scale when we got him. He's gained 75 pounds and grown and inch since August. He wasn't bothered at all by the antlers. He is too cute!! The first one is the horse antlers. The second one is my daughter's headband that he was...

    Pumpkin is learning tricks!

Pumpkin is our 3 year old gelding. He was underweight, wormy, scrubby and weak when we got him in mid-August. He weighed 150 pounds. He is turned out with another gelding and now that he has put on weight and gotten stronger, the 2 of them play all day. Since Pumpkin seems so eager to learn...

    Our rescue mini

I just wanted to share. We got Pumpkin as basically what I would consider a rescue on August 17 of this year. He is 3, was very underweight, weak and scrawny. At the time I did a weight tape on him and he was 150 pounds. As of today, he has gained 75 pounds and has grown an inch in height...

Best place to buy nylon halters?

We seem to have lots of halters but not many that fit the minis well. The mini halters are too small, some of the others are too big. We have a 34" mini and 32" mini. Any suggestions on where I can get a well fitting halter? We don't leave halters on and only really use them for training.

If Horses Were in High School

    Bucking Bronc...in Miniature

The weather has cooled off and the minis were a little frisky today! This is Pumpkin who we got on August 17th. He was so skinny and weak that I thought we were going to lose him. What a difference a month makes! There are pics of him on my website from the day we brought him home. My...

    Our Newest Mini Rescue

The newest rescue came in yesterday. My daughter has named her Cocoa. We believe she is about 3 years old (the vet will tell us for sure when he comes). She is scruffy, underweight and may be bred to a stud that she was pastured with. She had also been pastured with a pinto gelding that we...

    Therapy Minis

Does anyone use their minis as therapy horses in nursing homes or hospitals? I think this is a really cool idea and would like to hear from someone who has had some experience with it.

    What color is he considered?

My husband and I just got this little guy from a Mennonite farmer who took him in trade from an Amish farm. He's very underweight and had been sick so please pardon the pictures. We took them right after he came off of the trailer. We've had him a week and are working on getting him healthy...
