Another beet pulp question, plus flaxseed

I would start off with 1/8 cup per feeding, so up to 1/4 cup per feeding sounds good. A full sized horse is supposed to get a MAX of 2 cups per day. I get my ground flax from the Bulk Barn. It's cheaper there then the feed stores in my area. It's great as a weight builder, makes the coat shiny...

    Rescued Pony

Flax seed, ground up works really well for putting on weight. A little goes a LONG way. Maybe 1/8 cup twice a day to start and (maybe) max 1/4 cup twice a day. Sprinkle it right on top of the grain.

Problems & Situations Left AND Right!!!

Give your filly Lutacite(sry my spelling sucks) it's a shot to give horses that *may* be bred and gets them to abort the fetus. If she's not preggers then the shot won't hurt her, but if she is and you don't want the fetus, get rid of it...easy solution.

WOW! Does anyone have contact info for this lady? I wonder if she does custom orders...as in I recently PTS our 36yr old pony and wondering if she could make a replica figurine?

    Monistat 7

I wouldn't use it for eye fungus, but ear fungus..go right ahead. It also works on ringworm, as ringworm is not a worm, but a fungus. I had a rescued colt and used it on his spots. I don't think he had ringworm, but he was so wormy and tiny that i decided to cover my bases.

Dwarf friend needs help with kicking gelding....

I second the crop idea. She'll have to carry the crop whenever shes around him and if he goes to kick her agian, she'll have to hit him across the legs that are kicking at her. A loud "NO" along with the smack would be a good idea too. Don't be exessive with the crop, 1 good smack across the...

Scam or just a youth??? UPDATED w/ more emails

Since others have said that they recieved the exact same messages..its probably a scam...but you also have to realize if it is legit, Canada has 2 offical languages, English and French. SHe could very well be a 10 yr old girl...from Quebec and English could be her 2nd language and therefore her...

    Almost done with the barns!!

Aaaahhhh!!! Now I see! ANd yes I have fed around 20 horses, so I do know how grumpy they can get with their grain. It all makes perfect sence now.....you really do have beautiful barns, I would love to have something similiar some day.

    Almost done with the barns!!

Very beautiful!!!!! I do have a question.... What is going on/being planned with the 1/2 walls you have? I mean, are you going to extend it further into the aisleway? Or are the partions for equipment or something? I'm trying to figure out why the partion walls are (or seem to be) only 3 feet...

    Electric Fencing

You can get everything you need at your local feed store, TSC , or even try EBay! Since you already have the wooden boards, you should try just the nail in insulators with some cheap wire. Get a good fencer(something strong) don't cheap out on the fencer. You'll need the fencer, the ground pole...

Anyone have plans for building jumps

Wow, those are nice jumps, I made my own wooden ones years ago with a 2x4 and a 4x4. I had to buy the jump cups but at $5-10 each I think your pvc idea is easier, clean and would last in wet weather. How do they do in winter? ANy cracking?

    need advice

I found that the plastic traps worked tons better than the wooden ones. Peanut butter is the way to go, mice aren't really cheeze eaters anyways. Put the traps where your dog can't get them as the peanut butter will attract the dog too. I would put the trap by where you last saw the mice or by...
