I have read young foals do not and should not "roll". I have a week old filly that rolls, especially when I put down fresh hay for mom. Then she bucks and runs around, returns and has a nibble. Should I truly be concerned? Anyone else have young foals that like a good roll?

Hi I know this post is old but I am desperate to clear up lice. My horses get it so bad in the winter they have very dense coats here in Northern Utah. Will this work even on a thick coat? I can't shave this time of year it is just too cold. Thanks!

Okay I measured it, it is 23" at the narrowest point between each shaft and they are 48" long, I am going to try to bend them and make them more narrow, if I can not, I guess I will try to buy a new shaft piece that is correct for her size.

Dun genetics are always confusing. Grulla/grullo gets used as a "blanket" color way too often. It isn't really black or grey or this or that, so it must be a grulla. Or it has a dorsal so it must be a grulla. There are some good tips and tricks you can follow to help determine for the most part...
