I did have the vet come out, she started having loose stool and had a couple of squirts so I had him come. He said she looked good, gut sounds were good, no temp. He didn't seem to think it was necessary but I had him to do blood work to check. He called today and said her levels were fine...
Our little filly has stopped eating her grain, she is still nursing some and she seems to eat her hay. We wormed her a couple of days ago and the weather here turned hot. Tonight we took out and walked her, she ran, jumped and played but once she went back to the stall and we started feeding...
I noticed tonight that we have some bees in the barn, one stall seems to have a nest inside the wall. Suggestions on how to safely without hurting the horses to rid the barn of them?

Thanks for the replies! The vet finally made it out tonight and he said that it is due to her eye is turning blue. He said the other may or may not change. So glad it was nothing
It does look a little cloudy, just kinda dull looking. I am not sure about irritating her? To me she seems to sleep alot unless we are in the barn then she is up and active

Is it possible for a pregnant mare to have false heat? I have a maiden that is suppose to be with foal, so the previous owners said, but when she gets around a stud or a gelding she will squirt like she is in heat . Is that a sign she is not pregnant?
What are your feeding portions of hay and grain to maintain those lean looks? My mini's need to be slimmed down. Plus on the little filly that was just born I would like to start her off correctly.
