We are so happy with this little guy and I use the term "little" loosely.
His dam is Sundowners Delight who will not be bred again. She's a wonderful mom who loves her babies, but at 16 she is showing me the first signs of being a bit "wheezy" and coughy so in an effort to keep from stressing her if she is trying to get "heavey" I am choosing to retire her.
She's been one of the BEST broodmares, always settled on the first breeding and takes such excellent care of her babies. She has never needed any assistance foaling.
Anyway this colt is sired by our Double Destiny son "Regal"
and was borm at a whopping 24 inches! There are a LOT of legs folded up under this "sleeping beauty."
The weather isn't good for outside pictures so those will come later.
Here is Havencrofts Sailors Delight. AMHR registration pending.
Borm at a red sunset, he's a HANDSOME red and white boy!
