Youth Age...AMHR

Sorry, to ask this simple question, but, I can't get the AMHR rule book to open and this is driving me crazy!!!!

I have a daughter that just turned 8 yrs. old on Jan. 17. Would she still be able to show in the 7 and under division for AMHR? Or does she move up to the next age group?

Hi Gina,

It's December 1st and what her age was on that day is the division she will show in for 2010. So if she was 7 on December 1st and turned 8 on December 2nd then she would continue in the & & Under division. Same rule applies for 8-12 & 13-17.

THANK YOU, Karen....I was hoping so, as I would have had 2 in the same division and sharing horses tends to be a issue in our house/barn.
