Born 3.15am Leggy Black COLT with 4 white socks sired by our lovely boy Scott Creek Monarch Cadence!
Very impressed with the leg Cadence is putting on his foals out of small mares, mom is about 31" and her baby has legs for Africa!
Thankfully our vet saved the day again with the same problem as the mare's mom had last year with her black filly!! 1 leg back, luckly it was not as far back as her mom's foal's leg last year and the vet managed to correct it fairly fast, and being a maiden mare, it was a VERY tight fit!
She is being a fantastic first mom even after the whole ordeal
4am here, leaving them to bond alittle before moving them into the barn for the rest of the night

A few hours old and He is a rather fuzzy we man, he is the first early spring foal we have had in years! I forget how fuzzy they are when they are born! More pics'to come in a couple days, he is still rather scrunched up!
