Oh this is easy for me. Since I'm not a big concert goer I've only done 2 in my lifetime. That would be Cher (in Germany) and George Strait (when he came to Atlantic City). :aktion033:

I did not go to my first concert until teh day before my 30th birthday. So, the list is very small.

Crosby Stills Nash and Young (on their reunion tour)

Joe Walsh

I actually think that is it. We see plays and operas but not as much music. In April we have second row center seating for Cats!!! Yeah!!!

Little River Band

Gordon Lightfoot

Marshall Tucker Band

Bozz Scaggs

Chicago

Boston (IN Boston, interestingly enough!)

Davy Jones of the Monkees (gag)

And Larry spent a summer (1972!) following the Moody Blues up and down the Eastern SeaBoard and doing backstage work to pay for it.........does that count????

1st concert I went to was Phil Collins 1984

Texas Jam in 1984: Ozzie O., Rush, and 3 others I can't remember

and several who were fading out that would come to the Rolla State of Missouri Collage gymnasium to play that I can't recall any more, from 1987-1990.

Christian band: Skillet

As a child:

Johnny Cash

(someone who came riding out on a horse and I got to shake hands with.... can't remember his name, but sings "Like a Rhynestone Cowboy") I remember him singing that song.

Well certainly showing my years here but the first concert I went to was in 1957, my Dad took my friend Gary and I to see Elvis Presley, the only time he came to Canada. It was at the Maple Leaf Gardens in Toronto, I was 9 years old and we sat up in the Gods :bgrin All the girls were screaming so you couldn't really hear him and all I could see was a gold blob on the stage which seemed many miles away :bgrin

When I lived in England in the 60's I worked part time at a club called the Twisted Wheel in Blackpool and we had a lot of bands/groups appear:

Moody Blues

Billy J. Kramer and the Dakotas

Screaming Jay Hawkins

Merseybeats

Swinging Blue Jeans

I'm sure there were more but I can't recall who they were.

This is a fun thread
