One of my Jennies standing beside the plum tree, looking abit odd.

I take a closer look & she has the garden hose wrapped around her neck,

not once but twice! :new_shocked: She is quietly standing there, hung up in the tree,

waiting for mom to free her. Now if she was a horse...perhaps thinking a snake

was attacking them....well I dread to think of the outcome!

I'm usually such a stickler for safety around the farm! How did I miss this one?

Kids are constantly leaving lead ropes & baling string....lying around & I'm

constanting looking for garbage, sharp stuff, you name it. Seems this hose

was up high in the tree branch draining & hadn't been put away for winter yet.

Figures Muffy would want to investigate...but I don't know how she reached it?

Where there is a will...there is a way!

Sandy

Leave it to a lovable longear to investigate :bgrin Thank god, she didnt get excited or I hate to think what could of happened. I guess no matter how safe we try to make it --something always gets overlooked.

Any of mine would have flipped out!

They would have looked at that hose as though it was a serpent.

You make me think I need to go do a security check for stupid things donkeys can get into...I think I will

Thank goodness she is ok.

Unfortunately I had a friend that sold one of her weanling jacks and he was with a very loving caring family, but he was left out in the back yard with the swing set and got caught and hung himself. SO very sad, when the families little girl found him that way.

Yes Devon, Our darling Muffy was hung up in that plum tree over by the dwarf paddock.

Forgot to tell you as I noticed it so early in the morning & you came to the farm much later.

This could have been sooooo much worse but we were all very lucky.

Muffy was a very good donkey & didn't panic at all..........PHEW!!!!

It scares me more just thinking about it, after the fact.

Sandy
