I like the "Another Way" link, too.
One of the quotes that really struck a chord with me was this one:
"When you can, buy local products from local stores, which keeps more of our hard earned money in the community"

Wise words...
Personally, I like to own things for many years. I detest buying things that get tossed out before too long (other than the obvious like TP, etc.).
It makes me ill to look at the quality of the flood of children's toys that are dumpster-bait before the Christmas tree is taken down. 'Tis the season, the ads on the kids channels are ramping up.
