That was fun!

We went trail driving on Sunday. The trail we go to is a groomed pea gravel rails to trails trail and it's nice.

I took my Sunny to drive and decided to pony Sammie along with us. He wore the bitting rig as we went along and did FABULOUS! Didn't chew on the bit or fuss at all! At least, not until I snapped the side reins on. He was "snacking" along the trail and I didn't want thim to, so this prevented him from getting the weeds and stuff.

We did a lot of trotting and some cantering and he just tootled right along. Got him used to seeing odd things and he went over the three wooden bridges nicely! Only time he fussed a bit was when my friend's mini came too close and almost squished us....
