Rabies shot who gives them?

I have the vet give our show horses rabies since they need a signed certificate, the rest of the horses I buy the vaccine and give it myself. We used to do all our cows when we had a dairy herd. There are plenty of wild animals around here that can carry rabies so we do not take a chance.
